Abstract |
The enhancement of linguistic role in conducting of cultural dialogue is currently appeared in modern philology and law. The author of the article defines the main problem of her investigation. It is to reveal the core of the conceptual changes of English in law. The research is based on empirical, theoretical and linguistic methods, permitting to study all sides of a problem and solve assigned research aim. Styles of speech, legal texts and documents, law-terms and other linguistic units were the materials of investigation. Linguistic units are analyzed by the customary sense of the word presented by doctor of philology K. M. Levitan. The conclusion is made that English in law is always under the influence of other styles of speech and its language and speech norms are slowly changed. Moreover, oral communication assimilates quickly with other styles of speech and the style of legal documents is conservative and traditionally distinguished by monosemanticity and accuracy of thought. |
